MyWalletCash ("we," "us," or "our") operates the MyWalletCash web application and mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

Important: MyWalletCash does not connect to your bank accounts, credit cards, or any financial institution. All financial data is manually entered by you.

You may optionally provide additional profile information such as a profile picture. This is entirely voluntary.

1.4 Technical Data

We may automatically collect limited technical data necessary for the Service to function:

  • IP address (for security and authentication purposes)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account
  • Display your financial data back to you (income, expenses, reports)

We do not use your financial data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

Your data is stored on a self-hosted, secured server. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Passwords are hashed using strong one-way hashing algorithms and are never stored in plain text
  • All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
  • Authentication tokens are used for API access with automatic expiration
  • Regular server security updates and monitoring

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal or financial data with any third parties. Your data is yours alone.

5. Third-Party Services

MyWalletCash does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not embed any third-party scripts that collect your data.

The only third-party service used is our email provider for sending transactional emails (account verification and password reset). These emails contain only the minimum information necessary for their function.

6. Cookies

MyWalletCash uses only essential cookies required for the Service to function properly, such as session cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any non-essential cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal and financial data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

  • Update — Correct or update your personal information at any time
  • Export — Export your financial data from the application
